With the second book of The White Wolf Trilogyon its way this year with the third and final on course for next year. Some of you might be wondering what I have planned next. The short answer. A lot. So you can definitely expect to see more books coming your way. I will be looking to travel more towards the fantasy side of my urban fantasy genre in my next few projects.
The first of which will be a standalone novel with no further sequels. After reading the Medoran Chronicles I was slightly annoyed that the basic premise for this story is similar to Lynette Noni’s series. But I am still continuing to write it as, other than the basics it will hopefully be nothing like it. I just hope that everyone gives it the chance I think it deserves.
The idea is still fairly preliminary however I like to describe it as, J. K. Rowling meets Tamora Pierce, and now meets Lynette Noni. It will be a mixture of fantasy and magic in a medieval setting. Unfortunately I won’t be giving many more details as I haven’t even created a protagonist yet, but I will give you the book’s title, Fragments of the Past. But don’t worry, more details will come as I finalise The White Wolf Trilogyand start formulating more of the storyline. Hopefully I will be making a start on this story by the end of this year as I hope to finish The Found by that point.
So that next project doesn’t seem like much after this series but I have more I promise. Following the writing of Fragments of the Past I do have another series planned, again it will be more on the side of fantasy, I hope you guys don’t think I’ve abandoned the urban fantasy and paranormal completely though as I do have a couple of ideas for future project but none which have become functional yet. The next series I have planned is a five part series and is also based in the medieval era. I do have a project name but at this stage I have decided not to share it as it may change, and I don’t want to share details that may change.
You may have noticed that this blog has had a lot more activity on my end the last several months, this is because I have been preparing these blog posts months in advance. For example, at this very moment as I am writing this post, it is still September 2018. I am doing this because as I get further into my university studies I will be unable to focus as much time on the author side of my life and I am doing my best to make sure I can keep myself out there while I finish my studies. I want to make sure that you at least have the final book of The White Wolf trilogy done before I enter my final year of studies in 2021. As it is I am hoping to have my side of it done by the end of 2019 to be published later in 2020. Then after I finish uni I will be working myself out as a registered teacher, so there might not be a lot of free time. But I do promise to keep you guys updated with the progress of my future projects when it comes time to start them.
On another note. Get excited for next month’s post as I will be posting a teaser for The Lost. With its publication to be later this year I hope you enjoy the short teaser which will be part of the first chapter.
